Save Website respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Saved websites: the URL, title, and icon of the websites you choose to save.
• Billing information: payments are processed by PayPal. We receive only a payment confirmation (order ID and plan). We never store your card number, expiry date, or CVC.

2. Browser Access Permission

The macOS app can read the address and title of your active browser tab only after you explicitly allow it. You can pause or revoke this permission at any time from Settings inside the app or from macOS Privacy & Security. We do not read your browsing history and we do not read pages you do not save.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, sync, and back up your saved websites.
• To enforce your plan limits and activate paid plans.
• To respond to support requests.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the service (for example PayPal for payments and our hosting provider), and when required by law.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete any saved website at any time and export your bookmarks from Settings. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@savewebsites.com.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions use signed tokens, and plan limits are enforced on our servers. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
